Bečić: The state is determined and relentless in the fight against corruption, crime, law violations and abuse of power

Based on the actions undertaken by the Anti-Corruption Department of the Ministry of the Interior, the employment of another police officer was officially terminated today, in accordance with the Law.

I have expressed my appreciation to the Minister of the Interior and the Director of the Police Directorate for their efforts thus far, and have encouraged them to continue—without hesitation—the robust cleansing of the Police Directorate from all forms of undue influence.

To all those attempting to obstruct this process, regardless of whether their influence stems from political or criminal circles, I send a clear message: stop while you still can. The state is determined and relentless in its fight against corruption and organized crime, violations of the law, and abuse of power.
